By-Law No. 22/06 was given third reading on September 12, 2006 to implement a method of conserving water during periods of high demand as well as giving consideration to ways of reducing costs to our current infrastructure and minimizing environmental impacts.
Between the last Saturday of May and September 30th in each year, residents are encouraged not to water lawns or boulevards except in compliance with the by-law.
Even numbered civic addresses or even numbered section numbers Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Odd numbered civic addresses or odd numbered section numbers Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Should further water conservation be necessary during extended periods of dry conditions, the number of days when watering can occur can be reduced to two days per week or if necessary, watering will be restricted entirely.
